3. Tell us a little bit more about your brand, what makes it special?
2 person design team, 4 collections (Lemon Loves Lime, Lollipop Twirl, Gnu Brand, Lemon Loves Layette), hand crochet and hand embellishments are a signature of our brand, and the softness of our cotton is highly important to us.

4. How did it all start?
After 20 years of fashion design experience, I found children’s wear intriguing after my daughter was born

5. Where did the name come from?
When my daughter was 2 years old her little voice kept repeating the words “Lemon” and “Lime” when I was trying to come up with the brand name; one day it just clicked and Lemon Loves Lime was official.

6. What inspires you? How do you get ideas for your designs and keep them fresh?
As a small design team of Moms we watch what our children do and like as well as incorporate appropriate current trends to create garments that excite our customer as well as the children wearing our brand.

7. What are your top priorities when designing clothing (shoes/accessories)?
Imagination; we want the children wearing our clothes to feel like they are walking around with one of their favorite storybook characters.

8. What is your favorite season to design for and why?
Both seasons are great! In spring/summer you have all the brilliant colors and themes while in fall/winter you get the rich holiday colors and that bring back such wonderful memories of childhood.

9. Where do you see your brand in a few years?
We see ourselves as a globally recognized brand with lines that will continue to expand while holding onto the uniqueness of our brand that we worked so hard to build.

10.  If there was one thing you could tell your customers (kids or adults), what would it be? To cherish the special moments of your precious one’s life through the wearable memories created by our brands.
