Jules turned 1 last week. Gosh, time flies when you are having fun! :) I went though so many changes and adjustments during this past year, but the greatest change has happened within me. I've learned to be much less selfish, way more patient and certainly more kind and accepting of others. As Meryl Steep once said, "Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduces to essentials."

Jules 1st birthday party was a blast - thanks to all our friends and family members who joined us for the celebration. And if you are wondering about the adorable hair bows Jules is wearing - I made them in literally 5 minutes. I just got a couple of spiral gift bows while shopping for the b-day decorations and attached them to Julia's hair bands with a sewing thread. Done!
