Since spring collections are finally starting to arrive, I have started updating Little Jules' (and baby Emma's) wardrobes. Here are a few outfits Jules wore in the past couple of weeks.
I'd like to start with one of our favorite brands - Lemon Loves Lime. Lemon Loves Lime creates beautiful, comfortable boutique girls clothing both children and adults admire. Most tees are decorated with intricate appliques featuring colorful stitching, embroidery, crochet and sequin details and more. And Lemon Loves Lime ruffle skorts are just too cute!
It was a cooler day, so Jules got to wear this adorable Pop Star Tunic and Legging set from Twirls and Twigs. Unfortunately, Twirls & Twigs did not produce the dress on mass scale. Only one or two sizes were produces and I was lucky to get one for Jules. Fun fabric necklace by Peppercorn Kids and Buck boot in pick shimmer by Livie & Luca complete the look.
Necklaces by Peppercorn Kids are a no-brainer. They are fun, colorful and machine washable; great for pictures or everyday wear. And they are only $9! Recommended for ages 3 and up.
Yay! We got a brand new outfit from Swanky Baby Vintage! Jules is wearing Swanky Baby Vintage Kayla's Comfy Ruffles in Chocolate Milk and Simply Terrific Tee in Fresh Mint. The colors are so soft yet vibrant; it's hard to tell by the picture. This season, Swanky Baby Vintage produced their entire collection here in the United States. In addition, the sizing was changed to be more true to size. You no longer have to size up on fitted tees and leggings. However, Kayla's comfy ruffles run HUGE! Jules is a very average 3.5-year-old and she is wearing size XS (18-24M). If you follow our blog, you know that we love Swanky Baby Vintage for daycare outfits. Of course, they had to serve spaghetti with tomato sauce for lunch that day! Oh, the outfit is paired with Livie and Luca Ruche shoes in Ivy Pearl.
Another adorable outfit from Lemon Loves Lime. We took these pictures during our trip to Magic Kingdom. This was Little Jules' and Emma's first time at the amusement park. As I was trying to capture this 'historic' moment, the girls assumed their most natural poses :)
Jules' outfit is complete with a cute crochet Kissing Fish Necklace by Lemon Loves Lime. By the way, baby Emma is also wearing a Lemon Loves Lime baby girl set from last spring.
The next dress is a true work of art! Designed by an award-winning UK brand, Little Joule, it is called Croquet Dress with Pier Print. It is made of 100% lightweight cotton. The top of the dress is lined and the skirt has another layer under for extra 'puffiness.' Jules loves this dress! She wore it to the Tampa kids museum the other day. We added a pair of Little Joule Sophia cropped leggings in Mimosa and Livie and Luca Ruche shoes in Ivy Pearl for extra comfort.
The next outfit is by the Australian brand, Paper Wings Clothing. We mixed Paper Wings Skipping Girl tee from spring 2012 collection with Paper Wings Rapunzel leggings from fall 2012. Not only this outfit is a 100% organic cotton, it keeps Jules occupied with its fun, intricate print that always has something new and exciting for her to discover!
And, of course, our favorite Buck boots in Pink Shimmer by Livie and Luca.
Persnickety Clothing spring pre-orders have arrived! Well, at least a part of the collection. Persnickety Clothing is always a hard brand for me to shop. There are so many cute outfits, which makes it really really-REALLY hard to pick just a few - our Persnickety fans know what I'm talking about :) I usually wait to see our customers' pictures before deciding what to get for Jules. But this Persnickety Clothing Annabell dress in Red Floral was a no-brainer. It is so perfect for everyday or special occasion. Very unique, fun and cheery. This dress is lined for a perfectly smooth inside finish. Silky lining also adds comfort and creates a feeling of luxury, so you know your money is well-spent.
Jules is showing cute Persnickety Clothing Mae shorts in Ivory that she wore under the dress that day.
Beautiful details... that's what Persnickety Clothing is all about.
Livie & Luca Elephant shoes were the cherry on top.
Miss Sassy Pants does not want to take pictures. She is wearing a Deux Par Deux tunic and leggings set from last spring. Jules has been wearing this set for at least 6 months now (to daycare, playground, etc). We are all impressed by how well Deux Par Deux holds up to tear and wear. Not to mention incredibly soft knit fabrics that make Deux Par Deux one of the most comfy boutique girls clothing brands.
Last, but definitely not least, Mustard Pie Clothing spring dresses. Aren't they beautiful! We just got our first shipment late on Friday and will start shipping Mustard Pie Clothing pre-orders tomorrow. I had to pull out a couple of dresses for girls to wear to their grandma's birthday party. These are such perfect girls Easter Girl dresses. Your doll can also wear them to birthday parties, tea parties or simply to have fun in the sun!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Mustard Pie Clothing's spring collection. The colors are so vibrant, quality is outstanding and sizing seems to be s right on target; although, we haven't tried any other Mustard Pie pieces on our girls besides these dresses. On the pictures, Jules is wearing a 3T in Mustard Pie Clothing Scrappy Ramona dress in Rainbow. Baby Emma, who is 9 months and slightly on the heavier side, is wearing a Mustard Pie Clothing Josephine dress in 12M.
