I love to mix and match different boutique girls clothing brands! So today, I decided to have some fun and put together a few outfits using some of my favorite fall 2012 pieces from different brands. I have to say, I am very pleased with the results. Some combos, like KidCuteTure star dress paired with Paper Wings clothing Rapunzel leggings in grey, just blew me away and have to make it into Jules closet this winter.

I feel like brand mixing gives me an opportunity to create completely unique outfits for my sweet girl. However, I know that a lot of our customers don't like to mix brands. Which side are you on? Did you like any of the outfits I put together. If so, which one? We'd love to hear your opinions!

Coco Dress in Black By Ooh La La Couture

As fall comes upon us, shopping for fall and winter kids clothes is in full swing. And the new fashion trend we see emerging in the realm of boutique girls clothing is the comeback of blacks and shades of grey. While a lot of our customers go for monochromatic looks, outfits that combine blacks and greys with a pop of bright colors are also popular.

Yesterday after daycare Jules and I did a mini shoot in Jules' brand new Paper Wings clothing outfits. I fell in love with Paper Wings Rapunzel print the moment I saw it, so my Little Jules just had to have one of these dresses. Jules loved the dress as much as I did! She spent almost an hour looking at the print, counting starts and finding all the other cute little details.

This Paper Wings clothing outfit runs huge! Both items are 2T, but fit at least 1 size large. Although Jules is almost 3-years-old and is very average for her age, the outfit was very big on her. Yet irresistibly cute! I'm hoping she will go through a major growth spurt by the time it cools down here in Florida and will fit into these Paper Wings Organic Jersey Dress with Rapunzel Print Dress and Stretch Cord Spot Jeans in Pink Raspberry a little better.

On Sundays our family makes it out to one of the local beaches, Treasure Island beach, for a spectacular weekly sunset drum circle. Every week hundreds of people join together to play freestyle, dance or simply enjoy this free concert on the beach.

Jules wanted to wear her "princess dress" by Kate Mack and she looked so cute in it that we couldn't pass the opportunity to snap a few pictures before we headed back home. Jules had a blast (can you tell?). She is getting better and better at posing too, in no time, she will be giving modeling lessons to her little sister. Here are the pics. Thanks for looking!

Here are a few pics of what Jules wore over the past 10 days or so. All of these outfits were worn to daycare, so I tried to make sure she was comfy enough to run around all day as well as take her nap.

The first two outfits are by Misha Lulu. Jules insisted on wearing her "kitty dress" one morning (Misha Lulu Hello Kitty Ride tank dress). It was the first time she wore a dress to daycare, so we decided she would wear a pair of Persnickety Clothing yellow shorties under the dress for extra comfort during play time.

The third outfit is by Swanky Baby Vintage. Jules is wearing Swanky Baby Vintage Baby Doll top from the spring 2012 release paired with Triple Ruffle Leggings in Dunkin Booth Blue from the summer 2012 release. The colors are not an exact match, but they are pretty close.

We love everything Deux Par Deux because it is so soft and perfect for cute everyday outfits! Deux Par Deux raspberry top in the last picture is my #1 favorite piece from spring 2012. The screen print of a flower fairy is too sweet.  Jules wore it with Persnickety Clothing yellow ruffle shorties that match one of the flowers on the top (covered by the pink bunny Jules is holding). Can you tell we love those shorties? They go with half of Julia's wardrobe!
